OK, it has been more than several months since I have posted anything on our blog. Sorry to those of you who actually try to follow what is happening with us on this blog.
We have been busy with just the everyday tasks of answering the phone, talking missionaries through there various ills and writing reports and keeping our Branches in order. We have been loving the work and serving here in the Kyiv Ukraine Mission. We truly love our mission president and his wife. They are truly wonderful people and thye are working so hard to keep everyone a float.
Our latest jaunt is to Kremenets and exploring this small city. Just for fun and not mission or medically related. WE took two days to just do some quiet ,loving missionary work with out really preaching. We just loved this little family and tried to make a difference in their lives.Natasha is my ,Our friend. She has been from our first week here. She has been willing to drag me all over Kyiv and to show me where things can be found.I am so much better as far a walking due to her willingness to walk me everywhere. It is her family that we have come to visit during the Easter season. Her Mom, Svetlana even made Easter Bread early so we would have some. Her grandmother,Lydia is a month younger than my mom and I love her. She is so cute. Feisty and just making sure that the 4 generations that live in her house are well and taken care of. Igor is Natasha's younger brother. He is a washing machine and refrigerator repairman. He makes 100 grevs a day. It is not much if you do the exchange. It's like 12 dollars. He feeds 6 people on that. Grandma has a small pension and Sveta does too but still it is not a lot to feed and clothe and pay bills with. Coal is how they heat their house and it is really expensive.
Be spent Friday the 13th in the Renok. this is an out door market place and every Friday people come from all over to sell their wears. We even bought 8 chickens for Sveta and the kids to care for. That would be Max and Yulianna.
Bila Tserkva and our branches there are improving. They read the handbook!!! It is going to be great.
Here are some pictures. Love you all so much.
